Peace of mind with CBD: sleep well, wake refreshed, and face the day with confidence
ENFLEUR is happy to share recent research that has shown that CBD has positive therapeutic effects in the treatment of anxiety, depression, and Parkinson’s. Now, a promising study has been released showing that CBD at various doses does not have the sedative effects that conventional anti-anxiety, anti-depression, and anti-parkinson treatments can have. This study, published by Frontiers in Pharmacology (a rigorously peer-reviewed journal publishing in medicinal chemistry, pharmacy, and toxicology, as well as basic and clinical pharmacology) examines the impact of CBD on the sleep-wake cycle of healthy subjects. In doing so, it was determined that CBD at various doses does not interfere with or disrupt the sleep cycle, allowing for a healthful night’s rest even while using CBD for anxiety, depression, or Parkinson’s. This means that using a high quality CBD does not adversely affect the body’s sleep cycle, so waking hours are more refreshed than they would be with conventional alternatives.
For those who are interested in supplementing for wellness with a high quality CBD, it is reassuring to know that CBD will not adversely affect a healthy sleep cycle.
Why does this matter? CBD can be taken at various dosages without a demonstrable sedative effect that would disrupt a healthy sleep cycle or inhibit everyday tasks, such as driving.
