CBD modulates "critically implicated" areas of the psychotic brain
ENFLEUR is pleased to share an August 2018 study published JAMA Psychiatry, a peer-reviewed journal published by the American Medical Association, that investigates the therapeutic potential of CBD in the treatment of psychosis. The double-blind, controlled, randomized study gave subjects at high risk of psychosis an oral dose of CBD. It was then found that CBD modulated activation of several areas of the brain that are critically implicated in psychosis.
Mental health is foundational to overall wellness. With CBD having been clinically demonstrated as effectively anti-anxiety, it’s worth considering integrating a high quality, high potency CBD into a daily wellness regime.
Why does this matter? The results of this study suggest that CBD may normalize brain dysfunction in those with high risk of psychosis.
