Cannabis-derived terpenes have valuable anti-inflammatory activity
ENFLEUR would like to highlight the therapeutic potential of cannabis derived terpenes. In a recent study published in Cannabis and Cannabinoid Research, the only peer-reviewed journal dedicated to the scientific, medical, and psychosocial exploration of clinical cannabis, it was found that terpenoid-rich essential oil possessed anti-inflammatory and anti-nociceptive (anti-pain) properties that signaled their potential usefulness in treating acute cases of inflammation. In light of the established long-term anti-inflammatory effect of CBD, the functionality of a high quality broad or full spectrum CBD is evident for those interested in treating inflammation.
Why does this matter? Terpenoid-rich cannabis derived essential oils demonstrate effective therapeutic activity against acute inflammation.
